Resource Change Tracking Is Now Available
This release begins tracking important changes across games and websites, including prices, release status, platform support, and network security information.
Resource Change Tracking Is Now Available
This release introduces resource change tracking to GoFurry.
Previously, GoFurry mainly showed the current state of a game or website. We are now beginning to preserve how that information changes over time.
The first tracked changes include:
- Game price changes
- Game release status changes
- Windows, Linux, and other platform support changes
- Website IPv6 support changes
- TLS and selected security configuration changes
- Changes to a site's primary access target
These records will gradually form a change history for each resource.
In the future, when a game changes price, an upcoming title is released, or a website updates its network or security configuration, GoFurry will be able to show not only what the current state is, but also when it changed.
An internal change viewer has also been added to help us inspect and maintain these records.
This capability is still being expanded, but it will provide an important foundation for future update history, trend analysis, and resource change views.
