Historical Data and Trend Foundations
This release begins building historical records for games and websites, creating the foundation for future trends, comparisons, and change tracking.
Historical Data and Trend Foundations
This release begins building a more complete historical data foundation for GoFurry.
Previously, most information focused on the current state of a resource. Starting with this version, GoFurry will gradually record how that information changes over time.
For games, historical records now begin covering:
- Player count changes
- Game prices and free-to-play status
- Release status and release dates
- Historical relationships between games and Steam information
For websites, GoFurry also begins preserving more observation history, including access targets, protocol status, and daily site conditions.
Not all of this data is visible on the public site yet, but it will provide the foundation for future trends, history views, statistics, and resource analysis.
The Games homepage has also improved its release date presentation, making released and upcoming titles easier to distinguish.
v3.0.0-alpha.3 is still part of the V3 foundation stage, but from this release onward, GoFurry is no longer focused only on what resources look like today — it is also beginning to understand how they have changed over time.
